Born in Arizona, Gary grew up in Harrisburg, then moved to the West Coast and is now back on the East Coast. Gary’s first part in theater was playing clumsy the elf in third grade. He’s now more of a behind-the-scenes kind-of-guy. He learned construction during college and his first theater construction build was helping his old boss out with a play that was performed in the late ’80s for Open Stage. In 2016 he moved back to the Harrisburg area where he met a lot of new artists and performers including his future spouse, who is a painter and poet. This is also when he met Frank Henley and Mike Fitzgerald. The first project the three friends worked on together was building the stage in the basement at HMAC for the performance of "Waiting for Godot.” This project included making the scenery as well. He’s looking forward to working with these guys and others on future theater projects.
