Narçisse Theatre Company is a community-based, non-profit organization dedicated to uniting the local arts community and developing artists from outside the mainstream. Not only are we committed to showcasing thought-provoking revivals, but half of all of our productions are original plays from Harrisburg playwrights.

It is the mission of Narçisse Theatre Company, a non-profit entity, to develop and produce engaging and eclectic Theatre Performances and professional Theatre Arts Education of the Highest Quality and Standards for the People of Harrisburg, by the People of Harrisburg. It is Our Mission to be a positive presence and reliable partner to all communities in Our City regardless of race, religion, gender, exceptionalities, age, sexual orientation, socioeconomic and immigration status, or political affiliation. Furthermore, it is Our Mission to create things of beauty and to evoke an emotional response for Our Audience. And it is Our Mission to Unite Artists, Students, and Audiences from across Harrisburg so that we may hear each other's stories, learn about each other’s lives and discover how much we have in common with each other.

We believe in People over Profit, and that Labor is superior to and precedes Capital.

It is The Vision of Narçisse Theatre Company to shatter the invisible, yet self-evident racial, ethnic, socio-economic, and geographical divide that has existed for decades within the Harrisburg Arts Community. It is Our Vision To create a permanent creative environment where artists are empowered and encouraged. It is Our Vision to be inclusive and collaborative with other arts organizations. It is Our Vision to provide professional arts education and programming to the children, youth, and adults of Harrisburg, PA that is affordable for all.
